MALGANDO, great war route, Asiago plateau July 19, 2015

Sunday, July 19 at the meeting with Casara of Campovecio, Asiago plateau, appointment with "Malgando", a walk on the great war routes accompanied by a team of experts followed by "living room of history" edited by the historian Luigi Cortellett.

The event, also promoted on the occasion of the centenary of the great war from the municipality of Rovereto, is a unique opportunity to stroll on historic routes of our Plateau, breathing the fresh air of our mountains.

THE PROGRAM

• Departure: 8.30 hrs at the Casara of Campovecio;
• Location: Malgando cross of Civello/cavern/Baito Ex Rossapoan Batteries/Barracks Formerly Strong Verena
• Lunch: 13.30 hours about at the Verenetta Retreat
• Living room of history with the historian Luigi Cortelletti
• Return: 15.30 hours approximately

NEWS MALGANDO 2015: reservation available chairlift uphill to people with disabilities.

Walk of Medium difficulty lasting 4 hours: it is recommended to use mountain technical apparel, children must be accompanied by adults and it is forbidden to carry prams. In case of rain, the tours will not be recovered.

Fee € 30.00 including (Team Nordic Walking Guides and historian-insurance-lunch in malga-story Lounge after lunch).

Participation only on enrollment for insurance reasons. The modules are located in the structures concerned or in the tourist offices around theAsiago plateau. In the event of non-attendance or cancellation of the day the fee will not be returned.

THE HISTORIAN LUIGI CORTELLETTI

Born in 1968, lies in the Alto Vicentino where he works as the Manager of the quality management system in an engineering company. For over twenty years he devoted himself to the study and dissemination of warlike events with particular attention to those linked to the great war of 1915-1918. In addition to a significant number of articles he has published many books among them include "beyond the tough trench", media works and heroics of the weapon of genius for the publishing house Rais.
