Ciaspolata in the Places of Nature with GUIDE ALTOPIANO of Asiago - "Mandriolo and the Formica Valley: Looks Across the Border- One Step from Trentino" - Mountain Professionals

THE NATURE AND HISTORY LUOGHI

The area of Mandriolois known in several respects: one of the most enchanting natures of the Plateau, the presence of numerous huts, the vision of a 360-degree panorama that can range from the Swiss Alps to the Venice Lagoon.

The route undoes between snowy pastures in an alpine climate, then continues in the midst of fir and lorry forests. From the ridge you can easily see how the erosion of ice first and water then, has excavated the Valsugana, the Valdassa and shaped the nearby mountains.  Among the most controversial aspects will be the old and new infrastructure for winter tourism: tourism as necessary for life in the mountains, as intrusive and devastating when it is not planned to be compatible with the surrounding environment.
