With this excursion we will go in the most famous flat and cold in Italy, the plain of Marcesina. Here you can find two special environments and extremely rare in Italy, which help to enrich and conserve the biodiversity of the entire plateau: the two bogs, Palù di San Lorenzo and Palù di Sotto.
Cold and rainy climate of the plain of Marcesina has allowed the development of bogs, ideal habitat for carnivorous plants Pinicula vulgaris or Drosera Rutundifoglia who derive from insects the substances necessary to their survival.
The plain was inhabited since prehistoric times, as per testimonials on site.
We will do lunch bag and we will also visit the Church of San Lorenzo and the "casoni di Marcesina". A sweet show.
