"Aperitif with the author" in Asiago, cultural meetings organized by the Giunti al Punto Library
Thursday, August 5, 2021 will be held a new meeting of the literary review"Aperitif with the author",organized by the library Giunti al Punto di Asiago.
Marco Balzano will present to the public his novel "Quando tornerò".
The meeting will be held as always in Piazza Carli at the piazzale del Duomo,in the center of Asiago,at 5.30pm.

Back in Romania, Daniela will sit next to the sleeping boy stubbornly spending his days telling him about when they were away, in the hope that he will wake up. With a question always in mind: can a mother who has been so long away still be a mother?
To tell this story are Manuel, Daniela and Angelica, the eldest daughter. Three voices for a single story: that of an exploded family, in which everyone realizes that recomposing the mosaic of affections, once the tiles have scattered, is the most difficult thing.
After L'ultimo arrivato and Resto qui, Marco Balzano returns to tell with a lucid look and at the same time participates in those marked lives that, if there were no one to collect them, would become entangled in silence.
THE AUTHOR MARCO BALZANO
Marco Balzano was born in Milan in 1978. With Sellerio he published the novels: Il figlio del figlio (Premio Corrado Alvaro Opera prima), Pronto a tutte le partenze (Premio Flaiano) and L'ultimo arrivato (Premio Campiello). For Einaudi he published Resto qui (2018) which won, among others, the Elba Literary Prize,the Bagutta Prize,the Mario Rigoni Stern Prize and was a finalist at the Strega Prize; in France he obtained the Prix Méditerranée,while in Germany he quickly climbed the ranking of the best-selling books. For Einaudi he also published Le parole sono importanti (2019). His books have been translated in many countries.
