"Aperitif with the author" in Asiago, cultural meetings organized by the Giunti al Punto Library
On Friday, July 30, 2021 there will be a new meeting of the literary review "Aperitivo con l'autore", organized by the Giunti al Punto di Asiago library.
Mariapia Veladiano will present her novel " Now that you are here "to the present audience.
The meeting will be held as always in Piazza Carli at the Piazzale del Duomo,in the center of Asiago, at 5.30 pm.

The reservation allows access to the reserved area at the Piazzale del Duomo,in Asiago and, only in case of bad weather, atthe first 170 reservations, the entrance to the Millepini Tourist Palace.
It is recommended to maintain an interpersonal distance of at least one meter.

Aunt Camilla has always lived in the countryside among flowers, chickens and beloved watches, in the large house where her niece grew up with her and uncle Guidangelo. Now Andreina, who is a wife and mother while her aunt of children has not had any, assists her affectionately and in the meantime tells firsthand present and past about their lives.
A living and energetic narrative,as Aunt Camilla has always been and continues to be. Around and with them, relatives, friends, other aunts, women who have come from afar who have a unique gift in caring, all together to face this inescapable host, "Mr. Alzheimer", without ever losing the joy. Because Aunt Camilla manages to give all of them life as it should be, happy days, made of that present time that no one has anymore, and for this reason rich in meaning.

Mariapia Veladiano,graduated in philosophy and theology, worked for more than thirty years in the school, as a teacher and then as a principal. He collaborates with the Republic and with the magazine Il Regno. His first novel, The Next Life,won the Calvino Prize and came second at the Strega Prize in 2011.
