Saturday 12 August 2023, at 5:30 pm, in Piazza San Marco in Enego, Mario Giordano presents "Maledette iene - Quelli che fanno soldi sulle nostre disgrazia" (ed. Rizzoli).
The journalist and director of Tgcom24 will talk to us about his latest book, which represents an investigation with which he denounces with names and surnames, facts and precise circumstances, the unjust wealth, the one accumulated on the shoulders of those in need, subtracting from those who suffer the essential to live. The immoral, illicit, illegal wealth, the one that arises from theft, fraud, deception, in an unscrupulous and criminal way.
There are those who cheat, those who plunder health, those who put the lives of others at risk, those who dupe pensioners and those who defraud the tax authorities. They are the "damned hyenas" that empty the pockets of the weakest.
From the PC wizard of Treviso who disappeared in Dubai with 300 million of savers to the entrepreneur who became rich poisoning Tuscany. From the big builders who, in order not to spend 95 cents more, burn a skyscraper, to the chef who increases the turnover of his coop (+1536%) by choosing (badly) the doctors of the emergency room.
As always, in times of crisis, it happens that many become incredibly poorer and few become incredibly richer. Mario Giordano has searched the stories of many profiteers, evaders, fixers, stables and traffickers, around Italy, consulting a sea of documents and official acts, without stopping in front of anyone, however powerful or threatening. Because no one should go unpunished.
