Admission is free without reservation (subject to availability).

The meeting was moderated by Piero Brazzale

It will be possible to buy the book during the evening.

"Having the writer Corona with us is always an emotion because it means concentrating in one evening that part of the mountain that I like: free, wild, nostalgic, made of silences and emotions, sounds, and glances among nature. It means feeling in his words the emotions of a past time but also the velvet of a pen under his full-bodied hands, which can still awaken the sensations and scents of nature of our Asiago plateau and the 7 municipalities ", is the consideration of the Mayor of Roana, avv. Elizabeth Magnabosco.

IL LIBRO: LE CINQUE PORTE (ed. Mondadori)

The novel tells the story of a grandfather and his two grandchildren, Igor and Neve, whom he decides to accompany on the paths of the woods, in particular in four walks in the high mountains, with a backpack on his shoulders and a great desire for adventure and curiosity.

In each excursion Igor and Neve discover a different season of the year and cross a door made of new knowledge: what wisdom do trees teach us? What can we learn from hares, marmots, birds of prey? Why is the forest a magical world that must be respected and loved down to the tiniest insect?

The ninth guides Igor and Neve to discover the answers to these questions, but above all leads them to cross the fifth door, the most important and mysterious, the one that includes all the others: the door of the future, of life and of the trials that, as we grow, life itself poses to us.

Some passages of the book report how the grandfather is particularly keen to pass on his knowledge to his grandchildren: "The old man remained seated on the log that served as a bench. She reflected as she heard her grandchildren's quiet breathing. He thought that one day, adults and perhaps with a family of their own, they would remember the trips with his grandfather, as he remembered childhood with his. He had the fixed idea that we must leave good examples and sweetness of memories. He was trying."
