Meeting with paleontologist at Asiago, "Spinosaurus: the incredible discovery of a lost dinosaur"
Friday, 7 December 2015 at 21.00 the Museo Naturalistico Patrizio Rigoni has scheduled the event "Spinosaurus: the incredible discovery of a lost dinosaur".
It's an interesting encounter with paleontologist Cristiano Dal Sasso of the Natural History Museum of Milan which will be held at thegreat Hall of the primary school "Monte Ortigara" of Asiago. The research is sponsored by National Geographic.
SPINOSAURUS
The Spinosaurus (whose name means "spiny reptile") it was a dinosaur theropod Carnivore, which lived in what is now North Africa, during the Cretaceousperiod, from theAptian to lower Maastrichtian, about 113-71 million years ago. Question del largest dinosaur predator that ever lived, the first dinosaur semi-aquatic known to man.
In the past two decades in Northwest Africa were collected other remains of Spinosaurus, among which stands out the impressive muzzle preserved at the Natural History Museum of Milan, useful to prove the existence of even larger specimens, probably larger than a t. Rex.
None of these finds was not complete enough to understand the proportions and anatomical adaptations of this strange predator.
