Observation of the Sun and its particularity of the Astronomical Observatory of Asiago, at 14.00, January 2, 2017

Meeting at theAstronomical Observatory ofAsiago plateau scheduled for Monday, January 2, 2017, to observe the Sun, its spots and prominences.

The Sun is the nearest star to us and the only one that allows us to observe directly its characteristics. With two telescopes equipped with Special filters, you can observe the eyepiece spots and solar prominences.

The meeting will start at 14.00 hours and will also include a visit to the telescope Galileo.
In addition, participants will be provided with solar filter, for an observation entirely sure.

In case of bad weather, will hold a lecture dedicated to the Sun and its secrets.
