From 22 August to 30 September 2015 on the occasion of "the work of Foza sheep", the Alps restaurant offers a tasty menu dedicated to sheep of Foza.

Succulent dishes prepared specially for you by excellent chef, will cheer your lunches and dinners at friends and family companions.

THE ORIGIN OF SHEEP FOZA

The origin of Foza sheep goes back to past eras: theAsiago plateau, regarded as a maternal breed land and in particular the town of Foza), there were contacts with flocks of sheep by Lamon racefrom Belluno or Castel Tesino (Tn), which in summer used the high pastures of the plateau (in particular those of the plain of covered Marcesina plane to Enego).

Over the years, the chiefs should be gradually diminishing: so begins the restoration project of the sheep of Foza. The primary objective is to encourage new breeding herds and promote this initiative both as old as our dear Plateau.
