Play MISS PAPILLON by Stefano Benni at Asiago, Millepini January 4, 2014
Saturday, January 4 at the Palazzo del Turismo di Asiago Millepini from 21.00 hours will be held the theatrical show "Miss Papillon" by Stefano Benni, staged by the Company of Leonardo.
The young Rose Papillon lives in his enchanted garden of flowers and butterflies, unaware of the rest of the world. One day, three disturbing and ambiguous characters burst into his Idyll to drag on, with the excuse of wanting to let her know the brilliant and fascinating life of the big city. In a surreal Paris, Rose must-as all of us-get out of his garden and confront a different reality, also made of hypocrisies, plots and crimes. A theatre of the absurd, between dream and nightmare, fantasy and reality.
STABLE COMPANY OF LEONARDO
1991, a group consisting of two teachers and several students, the desire to experiment and learn by putting themselves into play, the belief that you can "do school" in a new and different way, a passion for literature, the theatre and the performing arts. It is in this context, within the laboratories of the "Youth Project for school" Liceo Scientifico "Leonardo da Vinci" airport of Treviso, which takes its first steps the company of Leonardo.
In a lively and stimulating cultural environment, thanks to a fun job but rigorous, were made year after year new shows, soon stood out for their artistic and educational value. They are testimony to the presence in the calendar of theexhibitions and important notes the recognition achieved at regional and national competitions of theater for the school. Include, among others, the young theatre festival of Concordia Sagittaria (VE), Serra San Quirico (AN), Vicenza and Cesena (FC).
Crossing various genres, periods and authors, the Company has measured since then with many and challenging productions. Among others: six characters in search of an author by Luigi Pirandello (1994), Macbeth by William Shakespeare (1995), Le voci di dentro and Well my core and my by Eduardo De Filippo (1996 and 1997), La locandiera (1999) by Carlo Goldoni, the love of Don Perlimplin con Belisa of Federico Garcia Lorca (2000), A Streetcar Named desire by Tennessee Williams (2000).
And again: the licence of Luigi Pirandello, husbands and wives by Woody Allen, Endgame by Samuel Beckett, Harold Pinter's lover, the misunderstanding by Albert Camus, Escuriale by Michel de Ghelderode, Nilolaj Robertovic's mandate Erdman, Angelo Beolco told Parliament Ruzante.
The show is part of the 2013-14 Season at Teatro Millepini di Asiago, which from November to may will bring staged classics and contemporary works, comedies, tragedies, humor, music, offering opportunities for reflection and enjoyment.
