Guided tour-August 15, 2017
During this day we will visit the northern part of the plateau, where the Monte Church, of fundamental strategic importance during World War I.
The war, in addition to military strategies, we explore what was life at the front. Everywhere, but especially in these places, the survival of the soldiers was linked to the possibility of having water and foodstuffs. Not surprisingly the Austrians occupied tenaciously "buso of the ganachari" as it is called by locals, one of the Karst chasms where ice can be found throughout the year.
From history to Nature, from truth to the legend ... in these places the rawness of the attractions it mixes popular culture that develops the sense of fantasy. To keep us company along the way will be high altitude animals, marmots and chamois in the front row.
