Guard the secrets of Altopiano dei Sette Comuni in this area marked by both world wars. The woods that about 50 years ago were hideout of partisans already during the first world war had been occupied by soldiers who built trenches, shacks and artillery emplacements.
You can enjoy a splendid panorama over the plain that in the clearest days lets see Istria and the Apennines, as well as the Venice lagoon.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EXCURSION
Meeting point:
9.30 hours at military Memorial of Leiten, at Wunderbar (Heroes ' square).
Displacement: with their own transport.
Duration: full day.
Difficulty: 2 on a scale from 1 (easy) to 5 (Advanced).
To take with you
Needed hiking boots, clothing suited to the climate of the mountain, water, prano.
