Hike and historical activities of Yoga on Monte Zebio organised by HIGHLAND GUIDES and CHANDRA YOGA
HIKE IN PLACES OF HISTORY OF NATURE AND WELL-BEING
8.45 a.m. meeting at the old station of Asiago, moving by car to the village of Val gardens and then climb on foot within a Mixed Woods of beech and spruce up the cemetery of the Sassari Brigade and then to the monument of Catania.
Short break to admire the landscape overlooking the conca di Asiago. Then shift to the malga Zebio. Near the hut for those who want it will execute the activity of Yoga (not required) or a guided tour of the Austrian trenches of Monte Zebio.
The Place:
The Monte Zebio is located north of the town of Asiago and plays a great historic interest related to the tragic events of the first world war well described by Emilio Lussu
Along the entire stretch of the proposed route, in fact, you can see examples of intense human activity related to the construction of 1915-1918 war.
The route then, besides taking a considerable historical significance, also offers interesting naturalistic themes, such as forests of FIR, mountain pastures, Alpine pools and the rich flora and fauna typical of these environments.
After lunch break (possibility to buy a sandwich or cold meats/cheese at the alpine dairy).
Next descent towards Valgiardini.

DRESS CODE FOR EXCURSIONS WITH YOGA PRACTICE:
-Yoga Mat
-Batteries or light blanket;
-Need walking boots, long pants, anorak.
It is also advisable to wear even by sunglasses, sunscreen, hat or bandana.
