Excursion to the places of the Great War with Highland guides-"interrupted mount: The Austrian eye on the central plain and the Mosciagh cemeteries"
Interrupted barracks is located above the Interrupted Mountain and near the Mosciagh mountain. During the consumption of the Strafexpedition in these places was performed one of the most valuable acts by the Italian Army now at the mercy of the enemy.
The Valiant Infantry of the 141 ° Regiment of the Catanzaro Brigade with furious attacks here managed to remove the enemy and to save some country batteries. Despite this, the 141 troops had to withdraw on 28 May to precipitate the situation in other areas of the front and leave the area permanently in the hands of the enemy.
We will depart from the strong interrupted, ancient military barracks, and cross Woods steeped in history until you reach the Austro-Hungarian cemeteries among the only ones still present on the battlefields of the plateau.

We "Highland guides" are the first group of professional guides on the plateau. We are local guides operating on the territory of the plateau of the seven municipalities from 2008. Easy: The itinerary takes place on forest roads, dirt or easy mule tracks always well indicated and without problems of orientation in cases of fog or bad weather. These are a little long walks requiring a sports shoe for trekking (IF IN SUMMER ONLY), or the boot. In the winter time ONLY booties, no moon boot.
Medium: The itinerary definitely exceeds three hours, it is more complex, it takes place on a path with some uphill or descent demanding but can be overcome without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be disconnected or lacking in signals. The maximum height difference is still within the 300 meters. Required the BOOT. In the winter time ONLY booties, no moon boot.
Medium/demanding: The itinerary definitely exceeds the three hours, is complex for the difference in altitude that can reach 500 meters or the length of walk up to 6 hours, takes place on a path with some uphill or downhill but can be overcome without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be disconnected or lacking in signals. Required the BOOT. In the winter time ONLY booties, no moon boot.
Challenging: They are itineraries that require a lot of experience, training and physical strength from the person who travels. It is necessary to be able to move with skill also in the dangerous soils: scree, steep slopes or steep stretches, dense stain, high and without references, passages in rock, absence of springs. The difficulty of the terrain and the distance from the points of support require a total autonomy. Where indicated there may be the need to bring to the following bivouac material such as the tent, Bivouac sack, cooker, food, requires training, energy and strong motivation. Required the BOOT.
