Tuesday, August 9, 2022 awaits you a walk and guided tour of the MalgAsiago Educational Farm in the company of Asiago Guide.

Inspired by one of the works of Mario Rigoni Stern, we want to tell the territory through a visit to the Educational Farm. Our mountains were reached by the first populations to use their timber and the free land became fields and meadows. From the flowers of the numerous herbs the bees continue to draw nectar and pollen for the hive even today. These small insects have a lot to teach man: they are rational, hardworking, organized in their spaces and in their functions... and just like man they live in a delicate balance with the environment, which if altered, quickly degenerates the whole society. 

After a short walk to understand the fundamentals of biodiversity, we will use all five senses to get to know and meet these little friends.

INFORMATION

Reservations are required. 

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The path that leads to the MalgAsiago Educational Farm follows paved roads with little traffic and a mountain path . The difference in height uphill is less than 100 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: hiking shoes, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit.

COST: 5€ for the visit to the educational farm.

MEETING POINT: 3.30 pm in front of the Pro loco of Roana - Piazza Santa Giustina, 43, 36010 Roana VI. It starts on foot from the meeting place.
