Three eclectic actresses will accompany you on a pedestrian path in stages through the historic center of the cities, towns and villages that host them. Irony, music and narrations will enrich an original tour steeped in history, proverbs and legends.
The route will take place in the streets of the center, passing through the places of greatest tourist and cultural interest, leaving room for those less known, but full of curiosity and anecdotes able to tell the soul of the community that lives there, for a rediscovery of traditions. An extraordinary experience for curious tourists who want to take home a souvenir of emotions.
Cantagiro per la città is a cultural project that consists in the creation of a site-specific path, in collaboration with municipal authorities, aimed at discovering an urban or suburban space.
The spectators are accompanied by three actresses / guides who, through the language of comic-musical art, tell the stories and anecdotes of the place crossed.
The places visited are not only those frequented by great tourism, but also those less known, full of curiosity and anecdotes able to tell the soul of the city, for a rediscovery of its ancient traditions by the most forgotten.
The result is a journey in stages on the enhancement of the territory, which gives life to moments of social aggregation and stimulates the participation of citizens, thanks to the decidedly unusual contextualization in which the performative act takes place.
The vocation to bind from time to time to a specific territory is the strength of the project, which is created in collaboration with local experts and scholars, and is returned to the community with a moment of ironic and participatory sharing.
