Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2015 for Asiago she will play an important event in commemoration to the fallen of the great war: the national pilgrimage to Ortigara commemorative ceremony of the dead of the Battle of Ortigara.

The annual national pilgrimage is organized by Section ANA Monte Ortigara, slice of Asiago, Marostica and Verona in perennial remembrance and honor fallen soldiers, missing and maimed in the first world war.

The event is of particular concern: this year marks the 100th anniversary since the beginning of the tragic conflict that made theAsiago plateau , one of the most affected by the bloody war of 15-18.

PROGRAM NATIONAL PILGRIMAGE To ORTIGARA

SATURDAY 11 JULY 2015

• 16.00 Hours Crowding at Via Bertacchi to Asiago (near the Esplanade of the Shrine), formation of the parade with the National Banner, Banners and Pennants with destination Shrine of Leiten

• 16.30 Hours Laying wreath at the Shrine.

SUNDAY 12 JULY 2015

• Hours 6.30 Piazza Risorgimento II to Asiago: departure for Monte Ortigara of Flags and the Banner of theNational Alpine Association

• Hours 9.00 Monte Ortigara (2105 share Mt.): Holy Mass offi overshadowed by Don Bruno Fasani; Deposition of Crowns at an altitude of 2105 meters. and the austro-Hungarian memorial stone at an altitude of 2101 meters.

• Hours 10.30 Monte Lozze, close to Church: Holy Mass for those who cannot climb the Cippi the Alpine offi ciata Don Rino Massella, Chaplain of the Verona Section with the participation of the Choir Asiago.

• 11.15 Hours Monte Lozze: Official flag-raising Ceremony-honors to Honor fallen soldiers of the ANA Banner (deposition of Crown) official Prayer and final Honors
