REGIONAL ORCHESTRA FILARMONIA VENETA

It was in the summer of 1980 on what is now the regional Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta-ORV-became for the first time star of the opera season of the Teatro Comunale di Treviso in which he was born, demonstrating for the flexibility that has always distinguished .
Since its inception, the team initially called "Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta" placed himself at the service of the theatrical production needs, and soon became a symbol of Trevisan excellence appreciated outside the context of veneto. Known and constant, in fact, his involvement in Opera seasons of the Teatro Sociale of Rovigo and Operafestival di Bassano del Grappa, but there are also numerous productions at the Teatro dell'Opera Giocosa of Savona, at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele in Messina, the Teatro Comunale di Modena, the Teatro Dante Alighieri in Ravenna, Teatro di Pisa, at the Teatro Comunale in Bolzano, at Teatro Sociale in Trento, at the Civic Theatre of Vercelli and the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara.
After the suspension of the activities of the place dedicated to the expression of its operations, the Teatro Comunale di Treviso (in April 1999) the Orchestra was formed in autonomous association, adding to the original name of "Filarmonia Veneta" "Gian Francesco Malipiero" and establishing its own social at the Teatro Sociale of Rovigo. In December 2009 he assumed the present name of "regional Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta"-ORV.

The decisive financial support of the Veneto region has allowed the Orchestra to continue his lirico sinfonica in the region even after the suspension of production of the Teatro Comunale di Treviso and the province of Treviso (which since 2000 manufactures an innovative concert circuit project has made possible over a thousand events between Symphony concerts, Chamber music and concert lessons) gave and continues to give a decisive contribution to the activity the Orchestra, both in terms of organization, both economically.

In addition to continuing his activities at major theaters in Italy, the ORV recently participated in numerous festivals and was present in the billboards of prestigious Italian musical institutions and beyond, such as concerts del Gonfalone in Rome, Mittelfest, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Dal Verme and Sala Verdi in Milan, Politeama Rossetti d Trieste, Venice Cini Foundation, University of Pavia, the theatres of Bolzano, Ferrara, Modena, Pisa, Livorno, Pordenone, Ravenna, Trento, Udine, Vercelli, Vicenza, Vichy and Massy (France), the castle of Lancut (Poland), the Festival of Mallnitz (Austria).

Since 2001, moreover, have formed within the Orchestra several instrumental ensembles to variable to produce organic Chamber music concerts. An offer is much appreciated by numerous public and private musical institutions where quartets and quintets of wind instruments, string quartets and other formations expressly incorporated under the employees covered by different programs, they performed with great success.

There are numerous recordings that the ORV achieved for label Bongiovanni and Rivo Alto: recorded by G.F. Malipiero under the direction of Peter Maag, symphonies and overtures from the works of Giuseppe Verdi, music by f. j. Haydn and w.a. Mozart, the oratory Jephte et Helcana by b. Galuppi (first recording overall), the night of a neurasthenic and two shy of n. Rota (first recording overall), Mozart's the magic flute in the Italian version of De Gabo (first recording overall) The Tell-Tale Heart of B. Coli (first recording overall), as well as the operas La Forza del Destino by Verdi, Rossini's L'italiana in Algeri, La Romanzesca e L'UOMO Nero by g. Donizetti, the fun of the Gods of g. Paisiello. He has recorded for RAI 3 the Requiem directed by Giuseppe Grazioli, one of the young directors from the workshop of Peter Maag, plus music by Schumann and Beethoven, under the direction of Patrick Fournillier.
Remarkable success of two CDs of great communicative impact products recently with the support of the province of Treviso: New York NY and new year's Gala, a "live" of the latest editions of new year's concerts.

The opera season 2010-2011 the protagonist: "Carmen" (Bassano, Padua, Rimini, Rovigo e Trento), "Rigoletto" (a Padova e Rovigo), "L'Elisir d'Amore" (in Rovigo and Treviso), "the abduction of the Seraglio" (in Pisa, Rovigo e Trento) and "Pinocchio" (a Bassano del Grappa).
Also continues the commitment of the Orchestra and its symphonic and Chamber Ensemble in dozens of different programs offered in numerous places in Italy.
