On Friday 7 August 2026, at 21:00, the Palazzetto Polifunzionale di Canove will host a theatrical evening with the company Il Covolo di Longare, which will stage the comedy "Code name: Aphrodite" by Valerio Di Piramo.
The protagonist of the story is Jacopo Cirulli, a computer scientist who works from home for a large multinational company and whose daily life is organized and simplified by a very special assistant: Alexa, an artificial intelligence with human features. The tranquility of his life, however, is soon upset by the arrival of a series of eccentric and unpredictable characters.
Between a girlfriend who is not very inclined to technology, a musician neighbor unable to juggle the stove, an ex-military uncle with unpredictable behavior, an Argentine caregiver and some relatives who show up unannounced, the situation quickly degenerates into a succession of misunderstandings, twists and irresistibly comic moments.
Directed by Martina Angela Quaranta and Fabio M. Fusaro, the show offers a light and fun reflection on the relationship between people and technology, mixing humor, current affairs and paradoxical situations in a brilliantly paced comedy lasting about 90 minutes.
The Il Covolo company, a historic amateur theater reality from Vicenza based in Longare, thus returns to conquer the public with a show capable of giving smiles and fun to spectators of all ages.
📍 Admission is free.
