Taken with the concert choir "Coenobium", ASIAGO FESTIVAL August 15, 2016 2016,

On August 15, 2016, the Cathedral of St. Matthew of Asiago will host an exciting appointment ofAsiago 2016 Festival.

The evening will be dedicated to the theme of the "Venetian school between 500 and 600" and involve the audience with a rich repertoire of songs from that era, performed brilliantly from the choir "Coenobium", directed by Maria da Costa.

The concert for the assumption will begin at 21.00 hours and will be an excellent opportunity for fans (and don't!) to spend the evening of Ferragosto dedicated to classical music, immersed in the enchanting atmosphere that characterizes Asiago on summer evenings.

COENOBIUM VOWEL

Coenobium male vocal group engaged in vocal concert activity and research into ancient, romantic and contemporary music literature. It was stated in numerous national and international competitions:
first prize at the National polyphonic competition in Quartiano (1993 and 2013); Grand Prize at the national competition of Vittorio Veneto e. Casagrande (1993 and 2001); 2° Prize in the category Gregorian chant at the Guido d'arezzo (1995); 1° Prize in the category entries equal to national competition "Guido d'arezzo" (1995). Collaborates with cultural bodies and associations such as the Levi Foundation in Venice, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the University of Padua, the Accademia Olimpica of Vicenza, the Association Amici della Musica di Vicenza, the Società del Quartetto, Orchestra Sinfonica nazionale della RAI di Torino. He has participated in exhibitions, festivals and concert seasons such as early music Festival, the Festival Galuppi, Festival "Gregorian chant" in Florence, the Asiagofestival, even with wikiprojects and monographs, such as liturgical drama Officium Stellae, the passion of Christ according to John f. Lamentationes Hieremiae prophetae (1527), the Bark of m. a. engineers. Performed wikiprojects on Giammateo Asola, Giovanni Croce, Saverio Mercadante, Padre Davide da Bergamo, Giuseppe Sarto (Pius X) and, in world premiere, works by contemporary composers such as Claudio Ambrosini, Giovanni Bonato, Paolo Ugoletti, Domenico Clapasson, Manuela Kerer, Zsolt Gárdonyi. He has collaborated with important names in Italian culture and theatre as Arnoldo Foà, Pamela Villoresi, Melania Mazzucco, Sandro Cappelletto, Gianfranco De Bosio, Giulio Cattin, Bepi De Marzi, Luciano Bertoli. Achieved record Music Collections Of donum (1996), Lux, Donald potard (2002), Pius X – his music (2003), Tactus Saverio Mercadante, sacred music and operatic style (2004), sing (2007), Spatium (2012), Borders (2015). The group, which held numerous concerts in Italy, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland, also occurs in mixed education and chamber music, for solos, and Renaissance repertoire. By 2015 is tutor of high school youth choir g. Zanella of Schio (VI), which supports the school project
