Artemusica Culture – "Piazza Italy"-concert by the Ensemble of Mandolins and guitars delle Venezie

A concert truly not to be missed is the one organized from Wednesday 8 August evening Culture Artemusica at 21.00, at the parish church of Mittewald.

A typical urban and architectural characteristic of the Italian peninsula is the square. The square is not just a geographical location but Center and center of social life in a country like ours made up of small or large edificatisi centres around a meeting point that is large enough to allow a healthy social life and moments of confrontation but small enough to prevent the single of vanishing into an indistinct mass of strangers. The mandolin has always accompanied the recreation and community rituals because played in all the squares of Italy from Bolzano in Avola and identifies not without some unwarranted stereotype, Italy built around the squares in a thousand steeples and many dialects, helping to enrich the unique culturalhumus the envy of the world.
The above programme wants to retrace this little ancient world and unite the many Italian cities through the original repertoire and transcriptions.

TheEnsemble of Mandolins and guitars of Venice -Chamber music composed of mandolins, mandolas and guitars--wants to bring to the general public the boundless Italian tradition "cultured" music for plucked instruments, who in the Venetian area has began during the Renaissance thanks Tieffenbrucker family of violin makers and first Sellas, continuing on through the magnificent Baroque concerts for mandolin by Antonio Vivaldi and Johann Hasse, and beautiful instruments made by Giuseppe Molinari until you get to cameos in works of Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari.
The Ensemble of Mandolins and guitars, was born in March 2014 as a continuation and expansion of the successful experience of the plucked string quartet "Riccardo Drigo" Chamber music born in 2003 who has had the opportunity to perform at the Auditorium Satta of Syracuse, Asolo Musica, Auditorium Reeds of Vicenza, Padua's Accademia Galileiana, "Cesare Pollini" Conservatory of music in Padua.

The Ensemble has performed in the summer of 2014 and 2015 at the Scalzi in Venice and later also in the Venetian mainland. In 2016 began a close collaboration with new spirit and participated in "Il Ballo del Doge 2017" at Palazzo Pisani Moretta.
