On the occasion of Christmas, theAsiago Observatory proposes a series of interestingastronomyrelated, in order to teach and disseminate the secrets of this fascinating scientific discipline.
The first of the four meetings, titled Observation of the Sun, is organized for the days 27 and December 30, 2014 and 2 and January 3, 2015, at 14.00 hours.
It will be the perfect opportunity to discover interesting details about the nearest star to our planet, or the Sun.
Using telescopes fitted with special filters, you can directly observe the characteristics of the great Star, such as spots and solar prominences; otherwise, in case of bad weather, you can see aninteresting lesson dedicated to the Sun and its secrets.
Followed by a visit to the telescope Galileo.
The ticket price is 7 € for adults, € 5 for children aged 6 to 11 years. In addition, there is an additional charge of 2 € for goggles with solar filter.
