Observation of the Sun and the solar spots and bumps on the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni-27 December 2017
Wednesday 27 December 2017, at hours 13:00, theAstronomical Observatory of Asiago (seat Pennar) held an interesting meeting to observe the Sun, its spots and its protuberances.
The Sun is the nearest star to us and the only one that allows us to observe directly its characteristics. Thanks to two telescopes equipped with Special filters, you can observe the eyepiece spots and solar prominences.
Secure viewing, participants will be provided with sunscreen.
In case of bad weather, the event will turn into a real lesson dedicated to the Sun and its secrets.
During the meeting there will be also an interesting visit to the telescope Galileo.
