Observation of stains and solar prominences of the Astronomical Observatory of Asiago, at 14.00, December 27, 2016
Tuesday, December 27, 2016 meeting at theAstronomical Observatory in the locality of Pennar, on theAsiago plateau, to observe the Sun and its peculiarities, such as spots and solar prominences.
The Sun is the nearest star to us and the only one that allows us to observe directly its characteristics. With two telescopes equipped with Special filters, you can observe the eyepiece spots and solar prominences.
The meeting will start at 14.00 hours and will also include a visit to the telescope Galileo.
In addition, participants will be provided with solar filter, for an observation entirely sure.
In case of bad weather, will hold a lecture dedicated to the Sun and its secrets.
