On Friday 20, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October 2023, the beautiful Enego will be transformed into a lively autumn stage with the highly anticipated "Oktober Ghenebe". This festival represents an explosion of colors, sounds and flavors, celebrating the very essence of autumn on the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
Visitors will be greeted by enveloping scents and many initiatives, such as craft markets, where the expert hands of local artisans will exhibit their creations inspired by this golden season.
Local talent will also be expressed through the 2nd Wood Sculpture Symposium, where you will see artists transform raw logs into wonderful works of art before your eyes.
The gaze will also be captured by the photographic exhibition "Autumn Emotions", curated by the photographic club "Il Punto Focale". The images on display promise to take viewers on a sensory journey through the landscapes and atmospheres of autumn.
There will be no shortage of musical moments: on Saturday 21 October, the air will be filled first by the notes of Sabrina and her accordion and then, in the afternoon, by the contagious rhythm of DJ Baido, while on Sunday St. Mark's Square will come alive with live performances by Gioe Bertoni and Marina Feltrin, well-known faces of Canale Italia.
There will be no shortage of fun for children who will be able to participate in creative workshops and watch enchanted by the magical "Rain of Autumn Leaves".
Other experiences not to be missed will be: the horse-drawn carriage ride, which will offer a unique perspective on the autumn shades of the Plateau, and the wool and silk processing workshop.
And there will also be satisfaction for the palate: on Saturday there will be a stand of sandwiches and in the afternoon chestnuts and mulled wine, while on Sunday you can watch the processing of tosella and polenta followed by tasting. And to end on a high note, a special snack will be prepared by the Parents' Committee, uniting the community in a moment of sharing.
"Oktober Ghenebe" represents more than a party: it is a tribute to autumn, a celebration of community and a perfect fusion of tradition and fun.
