Cultural afternoon with writer Maria Antonia Canton and the historian Paolo Parsa on places of the great war
Saturday 4 August 2018, scheduled an afternoon of poetry in the places of the great war, with the participation of the author Maria Antonia Canton which will present and interpret the poems from his book "one hundred years of memory".
The meeting is set at 14.00 at the piazzale Verena with climb to Strong Verena.
For those who want to ascend to the Fort on foot, the departure is at 12.00 from Verenetta Refuge, with strong historical and naturalistic excursion up to and guided by the Guides Plateau (for info Click on ).
In the evocative setting of the Fort, the historian Paul Pozzato will tell of war that shook this territory during the great war, while Maria Antonia Canton recite some of his beautiful poems , with the musical accompaniment of Alessandro Carrer and Marco from Carobbo.
Reading will revive, in the places of the great war, "distant echoes of memory" provoking strong emotions "that echo on the stone walls."
At the end, buffet for all and return to the chairlift.
