Traditional evening opening of Fort Corbin for the evening of shooting stars
On the evening of Monday 10 August 2020, the traditional evening opening of Fort Corbin on the occasion of the night of San Lorenzo,the famous night of shooting stars.
During the evening you can visit the Fort of Punta Corbin at sunset and stay until 23.00 to admire the unique spectacle of shooting stars on the most romantic night of the summer in a place of extraordinary historical and naturalistic charm.
The location is ideal for meteor showerobservation, the Perseids,commonly referred to as shooting stars or tears of St. Lawrence: the view is wide and Punta Corbin is free of light pollution,which allows you to maximize the chances of observing the bright trails that ply the sky and fully enjoy the spectacle.
The participation fee is 20 euros and includes:
- guided tour of the fort at 6 p.m.
- dinner with set menu at about 20:00, with menu of the fort (pastasciutta, typical dish with polenta, suppressed and cheese, water, wine, sweet and coffee)
- turning off the lights with the ability to peer into the sky and spot shooting stars (around 21:30)

TIPS FOR THE EVENING
Suitable clothing for the evening mountain weather is recommended and to bring a plaid to lie on the lawn to look at the sky.
