Orienteering Championships Veneto-Trentino " Open " Highlands-Asiago plateau
Also this year ' l 'Erebus Vicenza Orientation organizes the Open Highlands, orienteering event now in its thirteenth edition. The race, scheduled for Sunday, 12 May 2013 in Valgiardini between the towns of Asiago and Gallium, will be valid as Veneto and Trentino Championship on long distance.
About 500 are the competitors expected, coming even from Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Friuli and Toscana. The map of Valgiardini, already theatre of Italian Championships in 2011, will Middle test competitors of absolute categories with its forests highly technical and challenging slopes. Many athletes of the Italian national team will be away to test the land ahead of the 2014 World Cup on ' Plateau of 7 Municipalities.
For the veneto favorites are the athletes of gruppo sportivo Forestale Emiliano Daniele Pagliari and Crown, but the prediction is in favor of Manuel Negrello, ruler of Italy first Cup to Transacqua. The title is a female fight veneto between the company and the Saint John; in fact, there are contenderselo the Alaina Lerose Vicenza and Treviso Cristina Bez and Denise Baggio.

The meeting point is in Valgiardini at 9, with the first departure at 10. The locations range from 2 km of first-timers to 8 kilometres to absolute categories.
Sunday's race is part of a wider programme of competitions and training camp that will culminate in July 2014 with the absolute World Championships race orientation that will be played between Veneto and Trentino.
