DESTINATION: Monte Longara - Asiago Plateau and Seven Municipalities (VI)
A morning of pure immersion in the mountain landscape of the Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities.
With its gentle slopes andopen spaces, step by step through woods and snow-covered pastures leads us to a 360° panoramic point. From here it is possible for our gaze to travel over the profiles of the mountains from the Apennine chain towards the Little Brenta Dolomites, the Ortigara, the Lagorai and even the Marmolada.
Snowshoeing will not only be an opportunity to enjoy views of rare beauty, but also to hear the sounds of the woods , understand what a mountain hut really is, learn about the history of these places that have helplessly witnessed the cruel clashes between armies during the Great War of which the landscape visibly bears the signs, even under the blanket of white snow.
Reservations are mandatory.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop, does not present any particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 300 m, the length does not exceed 7 km.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, hat, gloves.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.

We start on foot from the meeting point.
