Local festival with Holy Mass, parade through the streets of the country and the blessing of the statue of our Lady in the Gallery of the train
Saturday 8 December 2018, Cesuna celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate, patron saint of the village, with a large community celebration .
At 10:30 will be celebrated the solemn Mass , sung by the "Schola Cantorum" of Cesuna, which this year is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Foundation.
Followed by a parade in procession, accompanied by the Band "mount Lemerle", will bring music and merriment for the main street of the village.
This year there is also a great novelty: the procession will not end in the town square, but will continue until the great Gallery of the former little train, where since its construction (1910) there is the so called "Buso de la Madona", an impressive natural karst cave, where the passage of time and water over the millennia has carved on the rock a silhouette in the guise of our Lady.
Right next to this template, this year the "historical and Cultural Association Source South 7 Municipalities", in collaboration with the Library "Mario Rigoni Stern" by Cesuna, has placed in the cave a real statue of our Lady, which will be blessed the8 December.
The procession arrives at the Gallery to 11:45, then we will continue with a brief ceremony of blessing and inauguration in the presence of the parish priest
