Passage of the "transhumance" in the historical centre of Asiago on September 25, 2015
Friday, September 25, 2015 will take place the traditional step of herding cows to Asiago.
The folk tradition of transhumance will bring over 450 cows, guided by a hundred people to horse in their return from the mountain pastures.
The passage of the herds to the historic centre of Asiago is expected around at 16.30.
The parade will come from Gallium, will travel via Patriots to arrive in the main square of the old town, Piazza Risorgimento II and continue to viale Stazione; Here there is a short stop, in front of the seat of the Comunità Montana Dear of the seven municipalities, for the delivery of the strand, the Bell symbol of transhumance.
Here the municipality of Asiago will reward the cow which produced more milk with a lock hand decorated byartist Chiara Carli asiaghese Muller, who commissioned him to paint it with the municipal coat of arms.
The cows will continue then for Vicenza to the barn of the farm Paiusco.
