Friday, August 10, 2012, Asiago, will hold the Piano Concert with Oliver Kern.

The ' event, programmed by Asiago Festival, will take place at the Palazzo del Turismo Millepini of Asiago, 21:00 hours.

Asiago Festival offers numerous concerts throughout the month of August.

Admission 10 €.

OLIVER KERN

Oliver Kern was born in 1970 in Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany, where he began studying piano at age 5 years.

He undertakes the artistic activity, distinguishing himself in the German music scene for brilliant achievements in international piano competitions.

He graduated with honors in piano, conducting and choir at the Academy "Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart, under the Wan help Ing Ong.

Later she specialized in piano with Rudolf Buchbinder and Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, "Musik-Akademie Basel" and "Mozarteum" in Salzburg.

Get many recognitions in international piano competitions: first and second prizes in the competitions of Senigallia, Hamamatsu, Beijing and Paris.

It requires the attention of critics and won two prestigious competitions: "ARD" in Munich 1999, "Beethoven" in Vienna in 2001 which follows even the Special Prize for the best interpretation of Beethoven sonatas.

The latter victory gives Kern excellence of first German ever to have achieved this milestone.
Appreciated interpreter of Beethoven and Brahms, criticizes the recognizes the merit of a technical virtuosity is not an end in itself, but aimed at a thorough search timbre and expressive: "Beethoven's execution of Kern is the first really convincing after the sacred monsters of the 1930s-1950s (r. His intellectual rigor causes to create singular cultural projects: performs the complete works for piano by Brahms, in 2003 in Braunschweig Classix Festival and musical season 2004-2005 in Seoul, Korea. He has performed in major Festivals and in famous halls of America, Asia and Europe, enjoying everywhere public successes: the Musikverein in Vienna, the Auditorium s. Cecilia in Rome, the Berlin Schauspielhaus, Hamburg's Musikhalle, Herkulessaal in Munich, Salle Gaveau in Paris, Saitama Arts Centre Tokyo, Seoul Arts Center, Century Hall Beijing.

He has performed with famous orchestras, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the China National Symphony Orchestra, Radiosinfonieorchestre of Berlin, Munich, Hanover and Vienna, directed by master Dennis Russell Davies, Michael Stern, Lü Jia, Marc Soustrot, Gerard Oskamp, Dmitri Yablonski. He has recorded for radio and television in Germany, Austrian, French, Italian and Japanese.

Place, in addition to the solo, Chamber music activities with: the famous Quartet, Francesco Manara, First violin soloist of the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, Alessio Allegrini, First solo Horn Orchestra, Mozart c. Abbado and the Accademia nazionale di Santa Cecilia.

Published for the label "Realsound" several solo CD with works by Beethoven, Berg, Brahms, Chopin, Ravel, Schubert, Schumann, Scriabin, Stravinsky.
Oliver Kern is also Professor of piano at the renowned Hochschule für Musil und Theater Hamburg.
