GOAL: Piana di Marcesina - Valmaron - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Snowshoeing, our steps through the plain of Marcesina will be guided by a myriad of stars that create an evocative atmosphere around us.

In the dark mountain sky, our view will be able to sweep from the profiles of the surrounding mountains to the sky. The guide, a passionate amateur astronomer , will entertain you with many scientific and mythological curiosities about the winter sky that always makes us dream.  

Arriving at the Barricata Refuge, a convivial dinner awaits us with an à la carte menu consisting of a first course, second course with side dish, dessert, water, wine and coffee. 

The return will be made with a panoramic snowmobile tour that will take us to the starting point.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route runs through mountain paths and dirt roads. 

The difference in height is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the hike, a small snack such as dried fruit, headlamp possibly with a steady red light. 

WARNING: It is advisable to dress in layers and to have warm clothing, also recommended a blanket,  for the return by snowmobile.

COST: 60€ for the guided snowshoe hike, dinner at the Barricata Refuge (including the above) and return by snowmobile. 

Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person. 

MEETING POINT: 4.00 p.m. at the parking lot of the Valmaron Refuge, Enego (VI)
