GOAL: Campi del Mandriolo - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
A path through the pastures leads us to one of the most beautiful basins of our Alps: the fields of Mandriolo, above the Larici-Val Formica area.
The plateau offers one of the most beautiful skies in Italy and our guide, passionate amateur astronomer, will entertain you with many curiosities about the celestial vault!
Walking under the stars to see with a little luck the Milky Way in all its beauty, observing in the dark the profiles of the mountains and the bearing of the firs and larch trees of our forests,
be enveloped by thenebriating scent of mountain pastures with the calm and pleasure of walking ...
Reservations are required.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 350 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, front pile.
COST: 15€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.
MEETING POINT: 8.30 pm Parking of the Val Formica Refuge.
It starts on foot from the meeting place.
