Franca Monticello presents her latest book to Treschè Conca

On the afternoon of Monday, July 22, 2019 from 17.00,at the PalaSilvio of Treschè Conca,an interesting appointment will be held with the writer Franca Monticello.

During this meeting, the Vicentina writer will present her latest book, entitled "Four Steps Back".

Next will be a convivial aperitif with the author.

FOUR STEPS BACK

In this volume it is told of Antonietta who, after the death of her husband, feels emptied and without a future. His life again acquires meaning when he discovers in writing a therapy against pain: he then recounts his childhood and youth, the emotions and affections most loved and, through memories, reconstructs an authentic insight into the society of the century last year, in a poor and peasant Italy, but rich in values and traditions, an Italy that faces famine, war and emigration, in search of economic and social redemption.

Writer Montecchio Precalcino (VI). Author of children's books and not only that, with Editions the Cherry has published "Emmalia's strange illness" , " Petrus, thestone, "Santa's cherries","The adventures of Orestes, plague cat" and " Snow andfeathers" .

It was also ranked 1st – Narrative Section at the 19th Edition of the 2010-2011 Spluga Valley Mountain Competition with the story "City craving, love for the mountains".
