Friday 17 August 2018 at 21.00, at the Gran Caffè Adler, held an evening in which the writer Gian Paolo Marchetti recounts his book "1916, a year of war."
The writer tell us major war events of 1916 that occurred on the Italian front, a new vision with the man and his emotions, his passions and his sufferings bringing songs from letters and diaries that soldiers wrote in the same places where battles took place.
Within the book images of covers of "La domenica del corriere" designed by Achille Beltrame, who represented important communication tool for its time with an unusual ability.
