INTRAMONTAILE ELIZABETH
When Elizabeth was crowned in 1952, Truman ruled the Usa and Stalin led theSoviet Union. Sixty-three years later, after the end of the British Empire, the collapse of communism and the overthrow of all traditions, she is still in place, anachronistic in his pastel suits and his rigid etiquette, unmoved even in the face of tragedies and family scandals.
Yet his popularity is very high and is considered thelast real Queen. A woman who, behind the mask he wears impeccably, appears an ordinary person, lover of the countryside and animals, frugal until stinginess, but devoted stubbornly to its mission and capable of sacrifices like no other ruler. Antonio Caprarica presented in this book a portrait tasty, well-informed and full of unpublished episodes, in which pours all his vast knowledge of the royals and their history and relive the magic of their lives.
