Presentation of the book "Silent Light" by Gigi Abriani National Alpine Association in Asiago-July 23, 2017

Sunday, July 23, 2017, at the Council Chamber of Asiago, will present the book "Silent Light" .

The meeting will begin at 20.30 hours and will be organised by theAssociazione Nazionale Alpini, under the patronage of the municipality of Asiago and the province of Vicenza.

This beautiful photographic book by Gigi Abriani retraces all the most significant stages of World War I in a new outfit: all strong Italians of the plateau, Cengio, Zebio, theOrtigara, all shrines of Vicenza were photographed in a new context, namely that of the night.

The meeting will be to free admission, with screening of a short film about 25 minutes of presentation, which starts from the Alpine life, to get to the book.
A sort of "behind the scenes" that shows how the Alpine life and how it was created the lighting for taking pictures collected in the book.

I didn't think I'd do a book, but the material collected was rising in a crescendo of emotions, feelings and experiences.
