Thursday 17 August 2017 at the central stage of Asiago writer Sara Rattaro will present his new book "love me", a novel about mothers and daughters and the overwhelming power of love.
The meeting, which will begin at 17.30, is part of the summer festival "Aperitif with author", organized in collaboration with the Library reached the point of Asiago.
LOVE ON ME
Love comes like a wave, erase every lie, overwhelms you and illuminates.
A young woman waits anxiously outside a hospital room. She was to accompany emergency there the man you now is hospitalized in serious condition. It was she who rescue him at the beach, as she passed by accident, she says. It doesn't say – can't do it – that they were together, they are lovers. The same day, in another wing of the hospital, a woman is awaiting news on the husband, victim of a car accident. Wasn't with him at the moment of impact; It was not traceable while the family, for hours, trying to get in touch with her. And now, when the Commission informed that in the car with her husband there was a stranger, don't seem at all surprised. The first woman is Julia. The second is still Giulia. And fate, with his irony, chose that day to make colliding the two halves of his life: on the one hand, that it is, or seems, a lucky wife and a devoted daughter; on the other, the one where he lives to sneak an absolute passion and escapes the respectability of his mother – at hypocrisy, the unsaid, a shameful truth. A truth that's haunting Julia as a Burr under the skin; a secret that makes her that being so tormented and unique, bright and dark; a void of love that he wears like a bulky presence, a chaos that can only explode. Because love is a voice you can't silence and a force that you can't stop. The only boost which can bring you back to what you really are. Sara Rattaro back with love on him, a powerful story and sincere, which talks about family and love, friendship and wishes unfulfilled. A story that lays bare the alibi behind which we hide for fear of hurting or being judged, the lies that we say to love but that only true love can forgive. SARA RATTARO
Sara Rattaro is a famous writer.
Graduated with honors in biology and communication sciences, in 2009 completes his first novel on the wrong Chair, with good success with audiences and critics. In 2011 writes his second novel a use any of you, soon climbing the charts.
Don't fly away is his third novel.
Of 2014 the fourth novel nothing is like you, which won the premio Bancarella 2015; public in 2016 Shine as much as you can.
Love on him is his last novel, published in 2017.
