Aperitif with the author Valentina Schifilliti in collaboration with the bookshop Giunti Al Punto di Asiago
On Friday 23 August 2019,the city of Asiago will host the author Valentina Schifilliti for the presentation of the book "The Hour ofTea".
The new appointment of the exhibition"Aperitivo with theAuthor" organized by the Library Giunti at the Point of Asiago will begin at 17.30,at the Central Stage located in Piazza II Risorgimento.
A literary meeting that will be presented by Federica Crestani and that will capult, with the right dose of irony, in Alice's Fashionland,a world made of influencers, magical filters, like materializers and much more!
In case of bad weather the meeting will be held at the Board room

Alice is an only child, used to working "for two." She never wanted to disappoint her parents and has a special relationship with grandma Bice, once a seamstress in a bridal dress studio, who made Alice dream from an early age with their tulle and embroidery. So, after graduation, she found The Fixed Place that the family expected of her. But when even that certainty seems to fade on Christmas Eve, Alice realizes that it's time to really follow the voice of the heart. Because the social media filter can be a subtle drug, which drives away all loneliness but asks in return to deliver every private moment to its blinding light... Valentina Schifilliti, for all of us , debuts in fiction with a romantic and brilliant novel. And he asks us, along with his characters, big questions: what is the relationship between reality and its storytelling on the net? Are we aware of the symbolic and economic power that all this exerts on us? And above all: will we be able to go through the great social "mirror" without losing the authenticity that makes life worth living?
