Friday 20 November 2015 at 20.45, the biblioteca civica di Conco (Altopiano di Asiago) hosts the novel "the strange distance of our hugs" from Roberto Masiero.

The novel, now in its third edition, is enjoying a remarkable response in terms of interest and will be presented to the public with the assistance of Mark Chapman in the role of moderator.

THE STRANGE DISTANCE OF OUR HUGS

It is a work that has as its protagonist a young couple from diverse linguistic backgrounds. It is set in the summer of 1969 in Bolzano: the world of the boys live and free atmosphere of the time.

Bolzano is a city but crystallized and old wounds of history (the fascist occupation and expropriation of South Tyrolean cultural) weighs like a ton and also interferes in personal relationships: the title "the strange distance of our hugs" is a metaphorical image.

ROBERTO MASIERO

Roberto Masiero is born and raised in Bolzano from parents veneti, in years in which was very strong discomfort for the contrast between populations of different ethnic linguistic distribution. Lives and works around Treviso.
