Paola Barbato presents her book ZOO to Gallio
Thursday 22 August 2019,at the Gallio Council Hall, will be held the presentation of the book "Zoo" by Paola Barbato.
The author, an exceptional thrillerist, will talk about her new work, enthralling the audience present with her stories.
The meeting will begin at 8.45pm and is organized in collaboration with the Schio's Color of Wheat library.

Born in 1971, she is Milanese by birth, Brescia by adoption, loaned to Verona where she lives with her partner, three daughters and three dogs. Writer and comic book writer, including Dylan Dog, has published Bilico, Naked Hands (winner of the Scerbanenco Prize), The Red Wire, I'll Do Nothing to You and I Know Who You Are (the first title of a trilogy). He wrote and co-wrote for Filmmaster the fiction In the Name of Evil, with Fabrizio Bentivoglio.
Zoo
Imagine waking up from a dreamless night and finding yourself lying on a cold, hard surface, the clothes of the day before I'm still wearing and no memory of your last hours. Around you only a thick darkness to which slowly the gaze gets used to. You're starting to see bars on your left. It can only be a nightmare, soon you will be in your room, wrapped in fluffy sheets of the house and life will resume as before.
This is not what happens to Anna, who in that cage, between those bars, in a shed full of cages similar to hers and people like her, really wakes up. From that moment begins a fight against whoever took it, a war learns because Anna has no other weapons than her anger and nudity to which she was gradually forced to fight against those who hold power, someone that no one has ever seen , but whose presence is felt in every inch of that frightening place, day and night.
It will be up to her, surrounded by very different people, some rendered crazy by the macabre game, others succuuses of a He with less and less nuanced traits, decide whether to play or let himself die.
Paola Barbato, like only the greatest, knows how to give birth to fear even by the most innocent flapping of wings. And she confirms herself as a master of the thriller.
