Cultural meeting with book launching "Mario Rigoni Stern-a man, so many stories, no border" in Asiago

Saturday 4 August 2018, at theprimary school music classroom Monte Ortigara, Asiago, there will be the presentation of the proceedings of the Conference "Mario Rigoni Stern-a man, so many stories, no borders."

The meeting will begin at 18.00 hours. The curators Anne Marie Carroll and Annalisa Scapin, along with some students from thehigher education institution of Asiago and with contributions of Sergio Fridge and Joseph Mendicino, will present the volume published at the end of the project for the study of the great writer asiaghese.

During the evening, there is a moment of entertainment, with Pierangelo T that plays the song, in the Cimbrian language, "song for Mario" by Tim ball.

The intent is to analyze the life and work of Mario Rigoni Stern from a particular viewpoint: that of RESISTANCE.
The writer plateau was not partisan, but his experience in the fields of German POW camp after the September 8 dl of ' 43, makes us reflect on the will to say no to war, to dictatorships and oppression fòrma of liberty.

Mario Rigoni Stern. A man many stories no border

In may 2015, following the dedicated to Mario Rigoni Stern, the higher education institution of Asiago initiated a broad curriculum in honor and in the name of the writer asiaghese. Experimentation, collaboration, critical contributions shaped the project "Mario Rigoni Stern: a man, so many stories, no borders."
The Conference has initiated new dialogues on the work and figure of the writer, open to possible developments in the vicinity of what would be his 97th birthday and near the tenth anniversary of his death.
The acts are also an opportunity to provide the public with three new songs: "nature in my books", typescript of Rigoni Stern dating back to 1989, preserved in Vestone; the transcript of an interview with writer led by Luca Mercalli per la Radiotelevisione svizzera di lingua italiana; Finally the poetic text "Rap of Mariostern", composed for the occasion by Maestro Bepi De Marzi.
