Monday, August 30, 2021 at 17:30 in Piazza Duomo in Asiago there will be an interesting meeting with the author: Gianpaolo Bottacin,Councilor for the Environment - Climate - Civil Protection - Hydrogeological Instability of the Veneto Region, will present his book "The days of Vaia - Diary fromthe field ".

"Emotions, anxieties, fears, but also delicate decisions taken with strength and without hesitation, told in a diary that traces the disaster that struck Veneto in autumn 2018. A small document book in which, with a fluid pen, the author photographs the days of Vaia live.
A series of episodes connected by a logical thread represented by the narrative lived on the field, but at the same time also a book in which, through several flashbacks, we try to denounce the many dysfunctions of a State, the Italian one, in which bureaucracy and sometimes inadequate regulations are often a cause of brake in the race towards progress."

Part of the proceeds will be donated to a project proposed by the Civil Protection of the National Alpine Association and intended for the strengthening of radio links in emergency.

Participants must be in possession of a valid Green Pass,except in cases of exemption provided for by law, as per DL. n. 105 of 23/07/2021.

In case of bad weather the meeting will be held at the Teatro Millepini.
