Saturday 4 March 2023, at the Cinema Lux of Asiago, at 17:30, the presentation of the new book by Manuel Vescovi, "United States of Italy - Objective 2028" will be held.

Originally from Padua but now living in Tuscany, Vescovi is a former Senator of the XVIII Legislature, who ended his mandate last September. 

His new book presents an 8-point reform, which includes federalism, presidentialism, meritocracy, the right to happiness, bureaucratic simplification, separation of careers, a maximum limit of taxability in the Constitution and a guide in the enlarged Mediterranean.

The presentation will also be attended by Monica Panozzo, president of the Circolo Stati Uniti d'Italia Asiago-Altopiano, and Stefania Longhini, director of the newspaper "L'Altopiano", who will coordinate the meeting. 
Panozzo, entrepreneur-artist originally from Treschè Conca on the Asiago plateau and also moved to Tuscany, has been collaborating with Vescovi for over a year in the realization of great intercultural events. "I always kept my distance from politics - says Monica - until I met Manuel. He changed my perception of that world, with his honesty, his values, his fidelity to his ideals. This is why I want to help him to carry out a project that is certainly ambitious, but the only valid and proven one to prevent the drift of our country: I trust  him".
