Proposals for the 21st century – new ideas and paths of politics to Asiago to 22 from 15 August

At Asiago from 15 to 22 August there will be Proposals for the 21st century – new ideas and paths of politics, orgranizzata event to be a path of ideas and anopportunity to debate.
But even the time of leisure and pleasure, of watching and listening. To celebrate Italy, Italian Culture and, above all, that Humanity from suffering a draw inspiration to build beauty and prosperity.

TheAsiago plateau, place of natural wonders, was the scene of the great war and indelible is the use of that experience. The testimonials are everywhere, obvious and valuable.

In the great shrine, overlooking the town, were transferred 54,286 corpses from war cemeteries in the area: 34,286 are Italy ( 21,491 unknown) while the remaining 20,000 are austro-Hungarian (11,762 nameless).

A place of memories, of beauty and suffering, so. But not only.
Carlo Emilio Gadda, the great writer who in Asiago had fought during World War I, wrote: «In the war I spent some hours of the best of my life, to those who gave me oblivion and complete identification of my being with my idea: this [...] It's called happiness».

Renaissance place Asiago? As a place of pure spirit and ideas? Maybe.
Certainly this is the reason that convinced us to imagine that thePlateau is the perfect place to formulate some proposals for our 21st century, what we would like and that still has not been revealed.
