Quarter-finals of the Champions League-ITAS CUP
Saturday 21 February 2015 to 20.30 hours at Asiago ice stadium will be played the first match valid for the quarter-finals of the Champions League-ITAS CUP between Asiago Hockey-HC Appiano.
The boys coach John Park, veterans from a very good 7-0 victory in the previous match against Gherdeina, will try to ignite once again the already enthusiastic fans of the plateau's towns of PalaOdegar di Asiago to already mortgage semifinal series!

The playoffs! Asiago holds the Appiano
Begin the playoffs tomorrow night scudetto Italian League Serie A Itas Cup ice hockey. Take the tricolour title hunt held by the South Tyrolean Rittner Buam. Asiago Hockey 1935 does not hide its ambitions and wants to be among the teams in contention until the end to attempt the feat. For sure won't be easy: in this intense phase can take many determinants (conditions, injuries and even good luck), but the team at the disposal of coach John Park has all the cards in good standing in order to be considered, rightly, among the possible winners of the Championship number 81.
In the company of stars, in this hypothetical "grid", we are the champions of Italy and the Val Pusteria (still dry despite numerous attempts), slightly detached the Valpellice (runner-up two seasons ago and defeated from Asiago) and outsider Milan.
In the race, but objectively with less likely to succeed, the Sterzing, the Gherdeina and the Appian. Of the eight remaining teams, only three have already won the League: the Ritten, reigning champion, Asiago and Gherdeina (with four titles each). The first round, the quarterfinals, has reserved to Asiago the comparison with Appian who had the best, in only two games, the Cortina, like Egna, Fassa and Caldaro already "on vacation".
The Appiano is not insurmountable obstacle for Asiago, but be careful not to underestimate the patrol headed to the bench by Patrice Lefebvre, former striker of Milan (three consecutive league titles for him in knitted Vipers) and, as a player, more than once, Justiciar of Asiago.

LINE-UP
With the absence of Banker coach John Park will be forced to shuffle the pieces at his disposal. In the first block, along with Ulmer and Bentivoglio, will make his home debut against Anthony Nigro. OPPONENTS

In the 1999/2000 season, the famous "record year" for Asiago, the formation of Pat Cortina, on the final day of the regular season, scored against the Appian wider victory in its history: 18-0. Record in the partial record of 10-0 scored in the middle period.
