Tuesday 8 August 2023 in Camporovere di Roana we celebrate the 79th Anniversary of a very sad historical date for the Roana hamlet: on 8 August 1944, at the height of the Second World War, the Nazi-Fascists set fire to 74 houses in Camporovere ; They were stopped thanks to the parish priest of the time who managed to convince the German soldiers not to continue in their intent of destruction.

At 18:00 the Holy Mass will be celebrated at the Church and, to follow, the traditional commemoration of the fire of '44 will be held.

At 20:30, in Piazzetta VIII Agosto, there will be a moment of conviviality, and until 21:30 it will be possible to visit the historical photographic exhibition "Camporovere brucia".
