Roana Cesuna Ceramics Festival - July/August 2019

Workshops and ceramics on display at the "Mario Rigoni Stern" Library in Cesuna, Roana, from 13 July to 4 August 2019

In Cesuna di Roana,in the spaces outside the "Mario Rigoni Stern"Library, the 2019 Ceramics Festivalwill also be held this summer: a series of events dedicated to the world of ceramiccrafts.

In July 2019,on Saturday 13, 20 and 27,from 15:00 to 18:30,there will be ClayWorkshops, three events dedicated to children andadults, who can devote themselves to the Clay manipulation for the realization ofartifacts, whistles and works at the lathe,with a focus on creativity.

All the pieces made during the workshops will be put to dry and then be cooked in the ovens that will be set up in the outdoor spaces of the Cuchi Museum on Saturday, August 3.

Saturday 3 August will be dedicated to the realization of the ovens,which will involve some willing participants: one will be built in fiber and one of bottleswill be built.
During the day, there will be numerous stalls of ceramic products and various Venetian ceramicists,including those Novesi and the Group of Bochaleri ofVenice, in addition to the Terracottai of Montelupo Fiornetino with their orgres made in pigeon.

On Sunday, August4th, at the conclusion of the event, the bottle ovenwill be opened.
